Join us for an immersive introduction to the world of ceremonial Japanese matcha and hojicha. During this interactive workshop, you will discover the traditions, craftsmanship and preparation techniques behind two of Japan's most beloved tea rituals.

Whether you are completely new to matcha or looking to deepen your knowledge, this workshop is designed to give you the confidence to prepare and enjoy matcha and hojicha at home.

What You'll Learn

• The history and origins of Japanese matcha and hojicha
• How to distinguish high-quality and lower-quality matcha
• The differences between matcha and hojicha
• The traditional technique of whisking ceremonial grade matcha
• How to create smooth and frothy matcha and hojicha drinks
• Practical tips for preparing matcha and hojicha at home
• How to prepare several matcha- and hojicha-based drinks yourself

Throughout the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to practice your newly learned techniques and enjoy the drinks you create.
